Proactiv 365 Review

I'm a teenager and a stressed-out person in general. What do teen hormones and excessive stress have in common?

Acne. Red, icky, oily, ugly acne.

When I was younger it was really bad... I was the kid everyone called "pizzaface" and any other face-related name in the book. Luckily, I got it early, so my acne had somewhat cleared up by the time everybody else was getting their pizzafaces.

That said, my skin's been far from clear. I especially get acne along my chin, and (cringe) blackheads right at the corners of my lips. Totally what you want to see when you lean forward to kiss someone, right?

I've tried a lot of acne products with differing results, but had yet to try Proactiv. When they offered us a chance to review their products, I didn't think twice.

I'll admit it: I'm not particularly devout about my skincare. I usually wash my face once a day, and almost always remember the toners, lotions etc. I should have been a bit more careful about it for the purpose of this review, but... I'm just not that conscious of it.

Despite skipping -ahem- a day or two, I've still noticed a big difference in my skin in the last few weeks. I have much less acne, and what is there is less red and icky... it's barely noticeable! I no longer look at my face in the mirror and feel any sort of embarrassment about going out without makeup.

One really cool thing about Proactiv is their new 365 system. They have skin-care advisors there for you to answer questions 24/7, and even offer online consultations with the founding dermatologists and personalized recommendations. A Q&A helps to answer any acne-related questions you might have. It really gives me peace of mind to know that if I ever need help or have a question about my skin, I have so many resources at my disposal.

The bottom line: I'll definitely be buying Proactiv again. And maybe even using it as often as I'm supposed to.

Maybe.

I wrote this review while participating in a campaign by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Proactiv and received product samples to facilitate my review and a promotional item to thank me for taking the time to participate.
