Homemade Poultry Seasoning

These recipes are made with dried herbs.  Mix together in a blender, food processor, spice grinder, coffee grinder, Magic Bullet or mortar and pestle.  Grind into a powder.   Store in a tightly sealed container (old glass spice jars or tiny canning jars work well) in a cool, dry place (wherever you keep your spices should be fine).

POULTRY SEASONING 1
3/4 teaspoon sage
1/4 teaspoon thyme
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/8 teaspoon marjoram
1/8 teaspoon cloves or nutmeg


POULTRY SEASONING 2
2 Tablespoons marjoram
2 Tablespoons savory
2 teaspoons parsley
1 Tablespoon sage
1 1/2 teaspoons thyme
1 pinch rosemary
1 pinch onion power


POULTRY SEASONING 3
2 teaspoons sage
1 ½ teaspoons thyme
1 teaspoon marjoram
3/4 teaspoon rosemary
3/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon black pepper


POULTRY SEASONING 4
1 Tablespoon salt
1 Tablespoon paprika
1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon ground white pepper
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg


POULTRY SEASONING 5
2 teaspoons ground sage
1 1/2 teaspoons ground thyme
1 teaspoon ground marjoram
3/4 teaspoon ground rosemary
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon finely ground black pepper


POULTRY SEASONING 6
3 Tablespoons sage
1 Tablespoon thyme
1 Tablespoon marjoram
1 Tablespoon oregano
1 Tablespoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon celery seeds
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves


POULTRY SEASONING - LARGE BATCH
2 cups dried parsley
1 cup rubbed sage
1/2 cup rosemary
1/2 cup marjoram
2 tablespoons salt
1 tablespoon ground black pepper
2 teaspoons onion powder
1/2 teaspoon sage
