Guided Meditations

From head banging to utter stillness, we know there is a place for everything in this world we live in and today, we are sharing guided meditations  (I do a lot better with these than I do when I try to sit still and calm my own mind).

Let me remind you, in our experience, there is no one thing that is perfect for everyone- that is a big part of why we try to offer a lot of different options-  for myself I am a picker and chooser, and select various aspects of what I learn that appeal or *speak* to me.  (I don't care if you believe I am going to hell, so those types of comments will be ignored or deleted- I do what works for me and believe everyone should, and let others alone to do what works for them.)  Even your great books will tell you don't cram your beliefs down anyone elses' throats, lead by example, and we won't even go into the whole judge not or do unto others issues.

Meditation offers so many varieties and options that there is sure to be something that appeals to you.  Dawn likes the nature meditations, especially dolphin or whale, Dev listens to get to sleep (and it is the ONLY thing we've found to cure her insomnia), and though currently I am listening almost exclusively to the Abraham-Hicks one I bought that focuses mainly on breathing, I jump around and really love the Linkin Park In The End vid-  relaxing music, gorgeous pics.

Linkin Park - In The End - this is the instrumental only version- the song also kicks some serious butt, but probably not for meditating. ;-)
