Menu for week of 10/4 - 10/10

Fall is in the air, and we love the delicious scents coming from our kitchen.  Ki makes an awesome spiced cider she'll be sharing the recipe for later this week and she's been practicing her bread baking- is there any better smell?

Anyhoo- here's what our menu looks like for the week- what's cooking at your house?

Parmesan crusted pork chops topped with sweet and sour apples*, buttered noodles, sesame green beans
*The divas say the apples would make a wonderful topping for ice cream

Hand rolled fresh mozzarella and proscuitto with tomatoes and fresh basil served on a bed of baby spinach and drizzled with a good olive oil and balsamic vinegar, Italian wedding soup, hot crusty bread or rolls slathered with butter

Mini meatloafs frosted with mashed potatoes and cheese, buttered steamed baby carrots, tossed salad

Chicken cacciatore (aka hunter's stew) served over angel hair pasta, steamed broccoli

Slow cooker beef stew, hot crusty bread or rolls slathered with butter

Broiled lemon pepper tilapia, boiled potatoes with butter and parsley, sweet and sour cucumbers
For the non-fish eaters, submarine sandwiches on multigrain sub rolls with lots of veggies

Sweet and sour chicken and stir fried veggies served over rice
