Lunchables review

Lunchables are a big hit at our house. Ian loves them when he comes over, and I eat them... well, constantly. Anyone who thinks they're just for kids is dead wrong... my high school friends literally fight each other for pieces of my lunch! They're both affordable and delicious.

And it gets even better! Lunchables have been getting more and more healthy, using more whole grains, less sodium, and cutting down on calories and fat. Some of their options now include Jell-O, fruit, and spring water.

For the purposes of this review, we tried two kinds: Deep dish pepperoni pizza, and ham & American cracker combo. The pizza came with mini Cheese Nips, Chips Ahoy! cookies, spring water, and a Kool-Aid Singles. It was made with 2% cheese and whole grains.

The ham and cheese cracker combo came with sugar-free Jell-O, Chips Ahoy! cookies, spring water, and a Kool-Aid Singles. It was also made with 2% cheese.

The consensus? Delicious! I'm in love with the water concept, because I can close the bottle back up and take it with me to class--I usually don't drink while I eat, but get thirsty later. There's plenty of food, and all of it yummy. We'll definitely buy them again... and again... and again...

I wrote this review while participating in a blog tour campaign by Mom Central on behalf of Lunchables and received the products necessary to facilitate my review. In addition, I received a gift certificate to thank me for taking the time to participate.
