Banquet Fruit Pies Blog Tour

MomCentral recently gave us the chance to try and review the new Banquet Fruit Pies. I was worried at first, thinking the store I went to didn't have them. I looked all up and down the frozen pie aisle, not seeing a thing from Banquet. I was disappointed to say the least. Then, luck struck-- they were by the pot pies! How cute, too, little personable pie! I was shocked at the price, 70 cents a piece! How awesome is that! I've spent more on those crummy rectangle ones you can get... you know what I'm talking about. Pretty awful.

They have three flavors, Apple, Peach and Cherry-Berry. I was saddened at the lack of pumpkin, but what can you do? They have microwave directions, but we went with oven for crispiness. They took 30 minutes, not too bad for a fresh-baked pie taste.

My personal fave- peach.  Gamer girlie's- apple.  Mom's-  Cherry-Berry.  Suffice it to say, something for every taste.  And surprisingly enough-  we all liked them all.

Onto the flavor- tasty! Very tasty! Flaky crust and well seasoned fruit made for a very happy mouth! It was better than I was expecting for a cheapy frozen pie, I was pleasantly surprised. I do plan on buying more for when I'm on my own and my sweet tooth is going a bit crazy, and Ian loves anything "me-sized"!
