I can't tell you all how badly I want to win this so I can meet up with all my faves. I have missed y'all and am so glad to be back to blogging- now I am slowly catching up.
Anyhoo the real point of this post is that JVC Everio is going to be sending 4 lucky mom bloggers to BlogHer '09 and I get an extra entry for blogging about it.
And yes, there is just enough selfish in me to want to say if I don't post less people will know, but you guys know me, that's not how I roll.
So, me and three of y'all can have a chance to win registration, airfare, hotel, food allowance and a fabulous JVC Everio Camcorder- I personally like the HD but there are 3 to choose from.
Good luck everyone! Hope to see you there.

Back in the land of blogging.

Vacation went by very quickly- 4 weeks just seemed to slip away from me.
Had a wonderful time but it is good to be back home.
I've got a gazillion things to tell y'all about but naturally can't think of a one. ;)
The piccys I promised aren't uploaded yet but unless they somehow got deleted (yes I did let the littlest diva take it to school for a project) they will eventually make it to the blog*.
*disclaimer- I am not usually in charge of the pics in this family so there are a lot less than would be from someone who is the official photographer.
** another disclaimer- We have a LOT going on here what with graduation, getting ready for Dan's visit, Kyra and Ian trying to find new housing etc... so... not promising much of anything... and... it just SEEMS like we are not the most boring peeps on the planet... we still are, promise, we just have stuff happening now. *g*
Don't want to overwhelm anyone with my verbosity so I'll save the good stuff for a real post but wanted to say hi real quick- missed y'all guys!!!

Finally! A post!

Alright, so I haven't posted in a long time. I've been busy- End of the school year, about to graduate, laziness, and... no, no, just laziness.

As some of you may know, I have somewhat recently started having heart problems. Nothing to serious, just saw my cardiologist a few days ago. I don't have to go back for a year! Woo!

On the downside... I'm 18 and I have heart problems at all (I'm to young for this!)
I was also prescribed regular exercise.

Ok, so I'm weird. I LOVE fitness stuff. I love reading about what you need to eat, what exercises are most efficient, what's good for your heart, how to get your metabolism up. Everything like that I can get my hands on. It's what I do in my free time-I read books, blogs, magazines, health studies...the list goes on.

But I HATE almost every sort of physical activity known to man. Even walking. Strong dislike for it. Even running around and playing tag with my friends. Nope, I'd prefer just to chill and be lazy... I've always been able to do that since I've been tiny and whatnot. Which is bad.

I'm tiny, but every ounce of me is fat and not muscle (which is bad, and possibly the cause of my heart problems.)

So I finally get to put my hard earned knowledge to good use. I'm going to be getting in shape. I'm going to start small and build, and while I'm at it, I wanna get those abs I've been dying for.

So, I'm going to post my goals, where I'm at exercise wise, what I'm doing to get to my goals and then the results.

Goals:
1) Ride my exercise bike on a low setting for more than 3 minutes. (I can do about 2 before my knee's hurt.)
2)Walk the whole bike path without having to stop more than twice.
3) Be able to get across the monkey bars. (I seriously can't.)

Also, while I'm on my getting in shape kick, I'm going to try to eat more healthfully. Why not? I mean, there's no sense in getting in shape if I'm still putting nothing but junk and toxins into my body. Toxins and junk sooooo don't support my main goal of getting healthy. So hopefully I can post some not-to-boring healthy recipes (That I have other people make) and stuff soon. Maybe do some fun video's. I'm not going crazy with it-Foods I love will still be in my life. In moderation, though, and possibly less frequent. No promises there.

So, onwards to health! (And the great skin and hair that comes with it!)
