I am so excited by this next giveaway. Thanks to My Blog Spark I had the opportunity to try out Progresso's new Chicken Tuscany soup. Now I've been a long-time fan of Progresso so this was a no brainer for me.
We got the package in a few days ago but have been busy with Halloween, work and of course having to redo the blog- oops so we set it aside.
Last night we tried it out or I should say Devii hogged it. Kyra is sick and had a small mug and I was going to share the rest with missy but after I took one bite, she took it and gave me that grin. You know the one. Yes, the one that makes you give in even though you had no intentions of doing so. Ian had a few bites of his mama's before she tasted it- he definitely would have gone back for more but we wouldn't let him after she had her icky sicky germs on the spoon.
Dawn was supposed to sample it as well but somebody didn't give her the chance. (This was not dinner for us, just a chance to sample the soup for the review so as many of us who were home were going to taste it.)
She pulls the mug over, cups her hands around it as if to hide it from me and says "you didn't like it did you, mama, I'll just take it off your hands" and what could I do but let her finish it?
I actually did like it, as did Dev (obviously) and Kyra has lost her tastebuds* but says it felt good going down.
*Nothing tastes good or bad to her right now she has a wicked cold or flu and even things she liked two days ago taste pretty flavorless to her right now. Since she is the biggest soup lover in the house, she'll give it a try once she's feeling better- yes, we will most definitely be buying it.
You will love that there is finally a great tasting high fiber soup from Progresso that comes in 4 varieties- Chicken Tuscany, Creamy Tomato Basil, Hearty Vegetables and Noodles and Homestyle Minestrone. Since we already enjoy Progresso Soups, I know we will be trying all of them. In addition to 28% of the recommended Daily Value of fiber, there is no MSG* and no artificial flavors.
Now, goofballs that we are I'll tell you the divas fave part- the mugs have a flat part (in the pic you can see the spoon resting against it) they have decided that they LOVE the mugs having a thumb holder and want me to find more like them so they can all use them.
