Slow Cooker Country Style Pork Ribs


As you may or may not know, some of the freaks I live with don't eat condiments- I know, right? I can't imagine it either.

It can make finding things we all like challenging to say the least.

I came up with this recipe to give the ribs enough flavor that the weirdo's enjoy it plain, but not so overwhelming that the rest of us can't slather on the sauce.

Season family pack of country style boneless pork ribs liberally with salt, pepper, rosemary and garlic and place in slow cooker.

Add 1/2 cup apple cider.

Cook on high 4-6 or low 8-10 hours.

These are really excellent as is served with bbq sauce on the side for those that like it, but the rest of us like best then to slather with Sweet Baby Ray's award winning BBQ sauce (when we're taking the easy way and not making homemade) and cooking for another hour on low.

Really delicious, and everyone is happy. (If we cook longer, we just take about half out and they either reheat if we're all on separate schedules or keep in the oven on warm covered with foil so they don't dry out if we're all eating together.)

If you have leftovers they make awesome pulled pork sandwiches.
